Missing man reportedly found at bottom of cliff, rescue operation underway

A 66-year-old Queensland man reported missing earlier this week at Tamborine has reportedly been found, with a rescue operation now underway to retrieve him.

Vincent Heuston was last seen on Wednesday afternoon at his North Street, Tambourine Mountain home.

9News understands Mr Heuston was found this morning at the bottom of a cliff face that his property backs onto.

Several police and fire & emergency crews are currently on scene attempting to retrieve Mr Heuston, with drones and a winch also being deployed.
