A man who sued police for almost $125,000 is facing up to 10 years behind bars after a jury found him guilty of perjury.
Bernard Nash was followed from the Shelly Beach Golf Club on the NSW Central Coast in 2011 and stopped in his driveway for a random breath test.
He refused and was charged with driving under the influence and resisting arrest but was acquitted in court.

He was awarded a payout when he sued police for wrongful arrest, assault, and malicious prosecution in 2015, ending the arresting officer's career.
But a whistleblower then came forward alerting police to the fact the CCTV relied on had been doctored.
The version given to the court showed Nash downing just three beers on that afternoon, while the original revealed he had had seven schooners.
Craig Ellis was found guilty of altering that CCTV and was jailed for at least 10 months.
At trial, Nash argued he believed he had only had three light beers that afternoon but now accepted that was incorrect.
But a jury took two days to find him guilty of knowingly lying under oath on two separate occasions.
"His sense of entitlement and his actions have destroyed careers and ruined families," Detective Inspector Jeff Little said today.
"He certainly made a mockery of the judicial system and of the compensation systems that are there to protect actual victims."
Nash will face a sentencing hearing in July.
