A man who crashed a COVID-19 press conference in Sydney has been handed a $1000 Penalty Infringement Notice.
The 42-year-old ran through the press pack at this morning's update in Sydney, before interrupting the NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller.
He asked Commissioner Fuller if he had received his "cease and desist" notice before thrusting paperwork in his direction.

Officers moved in to detain the man as he approached the Commissioner, who warned him, "Don't come near me".
He was escorted away by officers, but could be heard continuing to shout at Commissioner Fuller, who later resumed the media conference, joking that it was "another $1000 fine".
This afternoon the man was told he would be handed that $1000 fine after NSW Police deemed interrupting a press conference was not a "reasonable excuse to leave home".
It has been determined he left his home without a reasonable excuse and therefore in breach of the Public Health Order, NSW Police said in a statement.
