Police have released CCTV and a computer-generated image as a part of investigations into an alleged extortion attempt in Sydney.
Officers will allege two men went to a home on Chalmers Road, Strathfield in the city's inner west, and demanded a large sum of money from the homeowner on April 27.
The men allegedly threatened them with violence if they did not comply with their demands.

Police will also allege a man called the homeowner twice the following day to demand money.
The incidents were reported to police based in the western Sydney suburb of Auburn and detectives opened an investigation.

This led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man at a home on Gardeners Road, Rosebery on May 3.
He was charged and remains before the courts.
Police have released CCTV of two vehicles of interest and a computer-generated image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 170cm tall, of a thin build with short black hair.

The first car is a white Range Rover with partial NSW registration of CJS.
The second car, that was seen in the Strathfield area at the time of the alleged incident, is a red Toyota Corolla.
