A Brisbane school will be closed today after a person linked to the school tested positive to COVID-19.
Indooroopilly State High School, in the city's west, confirmed the case in an email to parents overnight.
The school is now undergoing deep cleaning while Queensland Health performs contact tracing.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk told ABC radio she understands a student has tested positive to COVID-19 and tests are being carried out to ensure it is not a false positive.

It will remain closed for 48 hours, Acting Executive Principal Derek Weeks said.
"We are continuing to liaise with public health authorities and our own department in relation to the latest developments and will act immediately on their advice should there be an identified need to do so," Mr Weeks wrote in the email.

"The health, safety and welfare of your children, our students, continues to be my number one focus.
"If you, or a member of your family, are feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of COVID-19, please consult your GP.

Queensland Health Minister Yvette D'Ath and Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young are expected to provide an update in their daily briefing later this morning.
