Victoria records four new locally-acquired cases

Victoria has recorded four new locally-acquired cases of COVID-19, all of whom are linked to current outbreaks.

In the past 24 hours to midnight, the four cases were detected from more than 25,000 tests.

No cases were recorded in overseas travellers.

Victorian health authorities say of the four new cases, all were in quarantine throughout their entire infectious period.

The cases come as Victorians celebrate the beginning of their fifth day out of lockdown.

Some restrictions have still remained in place with indoor venues limited to 100 people and outdoor venues capped at 300.
