An investigation has been launched after human bones were found in South Australian sand dunes.
The bones were found by a member of the public in the sand at Nora Creina on the state's south-east coast yesterday.
Police have not yet identified who the remains belong to and the circumstances surrounding the death is still a mystery.

"The bones were collected and conveyed to Adelaide for further forensic testing," SA Police said.
"The origin of the deceased and circumstances of the death remain unexplained."
Forensic work took place at the dunes on Thursday.
