A fisherman's unexpected catch forced the closure of two Perth beaches on Saturday.
Swanbourne and North Cottesloe beached were closed after a fisherman caught a large tiger shark before midday.
Video sent into 9News shows the fisherman alongside the catch, almost the length of him.

The shark was released back to the ocean shortly after its capture, which prompted the initial closures.
However, the beaches were then re-opened an hour later.
