A manhunt is underway for Scott Ramsay after a man was shot in his car in Melbourne's north yesterday.
Police allege a 31-year-old man was sitting in his car on Hockley Avenue in Mickleham just before 8am, when Mr Ramsay pulled up alongside him in another car and shot him.
A woman having a conversation with the victim at the time was uninjured.
Police allege Mr Ramsay, 30, then pursued the victim's car, before ramming it and causing it to roll multiple times.

Mr Ramsay then jumped out of his car while it was still moving and approached the victim's car, which landed upright.
The alleged victim managed to drive to a business in Transit Drive, Campbellfield, where he received treatment from paramedics who happened to be driving past at the time.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police believe the parties are known to each other.

Armed Crime Squad detectives and police have conducted a significant search for Mr Ramsay since the shooting, but have been unable to find him, sparking a public appeal.
Mr Ramsay is described as approximately 185cm tall, with a solid build and brown hair.
He is believed to be travelling in an early 2000s model gold Mercedes Sedan E Class, with significant damage to its front.
Police have released images of Mr Ramsay and his vehicle in the hope someone can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
He is known to frequent the Greenvale, Broadmeadows and Craigieburn areas.
Detectives have called for Mr Ramsay to come forward and make contact with police.
Anyone who sights Ramsay is asked not to approach him as he is believed to be armed and to contact Triple-Zero immediately.
