The third case was detected in hotel quarantine in a person who flew in from Melbourne.

Health authorities are not concerned about this case.

Ms Palaszczuk said the state is expected to reach 80 per cent single dose milestone tomorrow, which is expected to trigger new freedoms.

The announcement that masks would no longer be mandatory at 80 per cent first dose coverage was made yesterday, leading to an increase in vaccination.

The premier announced that 79.84 per cent of the state had had their first shot and 67.84 per cent of the state were fully vaccinated.

"We will definitely see Queensland reach 80 per cent tomorrow and that does mean that masks will come off," Ms Palaszczuk said.
