A NSW man has unwrapped the Christmas present of a lifetime after winning $2.1 million on Lotto on Christmas Day.
The Broken Hill man in his 40s – who wished to remain anonymous – held one of three division one winning entries in the TattsLotto draw on December 25. Each entry took home more than $2.1 million.
When contacted by The Lott officials on Boxing Day, the man said he was oblivious to his new-found millions.

"I had no idea! I hadn't even checked my ticket because of everything going on with Christmas," the man told officials.
"I don't think I received any presents as good as this one! It's all real, right?
"This was the last thing I was expecting on Boxing Day."

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4219 on 25 December 2021 were 31, 6, 42, 21, 30 and 19, while the supplementary numbers were 38 and 15.
The instant millionaire said he intended to pour his winnings into real estate.
"We've been trying to buy a new house, so that's now taken care of," he said.
"I'll still keep working. I won't retire. Things just become so much easier. There will just be less to worry about.
"I just can't believe it!"

According to The Lott, the odds of winning a division one game in TattsLotto are one in more than 8.1 million chances.
For context, in Australia it's estimated that the average resident's chance of being struck by lightning is one in 1.6 million.
