A search is underway for a missing swimmer at a dam near Bathurst, west of Sydney.
Emergency services were called to Ben Chifley Dam about 1.50pm on Christmas Day and told a 42-year-old man had entered the water and not resurfaced.
Police said a crime scene had been established and State Emergency Service volunteers were helping with search efforts.
