Two adults and three children have been injured in Tasmania after a man allegedly drove a car through a tent this morning.
The incident occurred at West Kentish Road Campgrounds, in the state's north-west, at approximately 2:00 am on Saturday.
The vehicle narrowly missed other camping sites and people before it collided with a tree.

All five of the injured were transported to Northwest Regional Hospital for treatment.
Their injuries range from minor cuts to suspected internal bleeding.
A 27-year-old man has since been taken into custody and investigations are continuing.

"Police have received information that the male was exhibiting anti-social behaviour prior to the crash," Acting Sergeant Fabienne Jamieson said in a statement.
"As we continue our investigation into the incident, we seek any information from members of the public who were in the area at the time."
