"The good news is they are linked to existing cases," WA Health Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson said.

Although, she admitted the number of COVID-19 cases reported today were "higher" than usual.

Ms Sanderson implored people who had been to exposure sites or felt unwell to get tested.

"With these additional cases, it is vital that people get tested," she said.

There are nearly 200 exposure sites listed on the Department of Health website.

The state has a total of 90 active cases, with no patients in hospital.

There were 4743 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
