A man has been charged after he allegedly doused a man in accelerant and tried to set him on fire in Queensland.
Police allege a 38-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were leaving a home on King Street, Buderim, around 12.30pm on January 15 when a 27-year-old woman known to the pair left a unit complex and threw a plate at their car.
The pair drove away while a 37-year-old man who was also known to them got into a car and allegedly pursued them, ramming their car multiple times, according to police.

As the man and woman tried to escape the pursuit, the man allegedly drove onto the wrong side of the road and through a red light to catch up with them.
The pair called the police and the man eventually stopped pursuing them before returning to the King Street unit complex.
Upon returning, police allege the man approached a 35-year-old man, known to the initially pursued pair, who was reversing his car from their garage.
He rammed the man's car from behind, police said.
The 35-year-old man got out of his car and was approached by the 37-year-old driver who then allegedly doused his face and upper body with accelerant before pulling out a lighter and trying to set the man on fire.
The victim managed to wrestle the 37-year-old man away and flee the scene.
