The case against a German pedophile touted as the prime suspect in the baffling Madeleine McCann case is about to collapse, a new British investigation will claim.
Christian B was in June 2020 sensationally named by German prosecutors as the man responsible for the alleged kidnapping and murder of Maddie.
The German prosecutor, Hans Christian Wolters, has repeatedly stated he has "concrete evidence" to prove that Madeleine was dead and that Christian B was the killer.

However, Mr Wolters has never revealed what that evidence is, nor has he charged Christian B, aged 44, with any crime since his explosive declaration, 18 months ago.
Now, a British investigation led by former Surrey Police detective Mark Williams-Thomas claims to have established that Christian B was 30 minutes away from Madeleine's rented resort room in Portugal at the time she allegedly disappeared.
The German investigation claimed Christian B's phone had pinged a cell phone mast close to the resort where Madeleine was staying, essentially putting him close to the McCann family apartment.
Instead, British investigators will show that Christian B was 30 minutes away from Praia da Luz when Maddie vanished.
"They have concluded (Christian) B could not have snatched Madeleine," a source told The Sun.
"He was 30 minutes away and was not on the phone in Praia da Luz the night she vanished."
The source said Christian B's alibi on the night of May 3, 2007 "stacks up".
The British investigation is featured in a three-part documentary to air on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom later this year.
Scotland Yard have said they are still treating Madeleine's disappearance as a missing persons case, even though the German investigation have insisted the young girl is dead.
Mr Wolters said he has no body or material evidence to prove Madeleine is dead.
Madeleine went missing in 2007 while on holiday in Portugal with her parents Kate and Gerry McCann, and her brother and sister.
She was aged three at the time of her disappearance.
Christan B's lawyer Friedrich Fulscher has always maintained his client had no involvement in Madeleine's case.
Madeleine would be now be 18 years old, if she is alive.
