A teenage girl was sexually assaulted during New Year's Eve celebrations at a beach in Hayborough, South Australia.
The 16-year-old girl was among 200 revellers at a party at Dump Beach, when she became separated from her friends at around 10.30pm.
Police said she was then approached by an unknown "dark haired" man who attacked her, pushing her to ground and sexual assaulting her.

Police are appealing for anyone with information relating to the crime to immediately come forward, in particular a woman who is believed to have spoken to the girl right after the assault.
Officers believe given the large number of people at the event, it's likely more witnesses are out there.
