Queenslanders have been warned to prepare for a tropical cyclone which will make landfall early on Monday morning.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) confirmed a low-pressure system moving along the state's far-north coast will form into Tropical Cyclone Tiffany and hit land at around 4am.
The intense weather system is expected to cause further problems for emergency crews still responding to hundreds of calls after floods and torrential rain hit the state's Fraser region over the weekend.

https://twitter.com/BOM_Qld/status/1479981998932258816?ref_src=twsrc%5EtfwThe weather system is currently tracking southeast in the Coral Sea and is forecast to cross Cape York Peninsula before moving into the Gulf of Carpentaria.
Senior meteorologist Dean Narramore said the Bureau is closely monitoring the system and when it grows into Tropical Cyclone Tiffany, it will likely be a Category One storm.
Warnings are in place for several areas including Cape Grenville to Cape Tribulation, including Lockhart River and Cooktown, with people living in these areas advised to take precautions and listen for updates.

Residents in Kowanyama to Mapoon including Weipa are in the watch area, and should consider what action they will need to take if the cyclone threat increases.
"We are expecting heavy rainfall and damaging winds as a result of this system, so regardless of whether it is a tropical low or a tropical cyclone, there is still an increased risk of flooding and some localised damage in the region," Mr Narramore said.
"Tropical systems can intensify very quickly, and shift direction, so we will be updating our warnings and advice to the community and our emergency services colleagues as this system progresses."
The storm warning comes after the Fraser Region saw floodwaters peak above 10 metres this weekend.

Floodwaters are expected to peak at 10.5 metres at Maryborough this evening, and 80 homes are in the danger zone.
Despite Tropical Cyclone Tiffany being forecast to hit further north tomorrow, the weather around Maryborough is expected to ease overnight.
