A woman has been hospitalised after she fell into hot tar that had been freshly laid outside a home in Sydney.
Paramedics were called to Shelby Road in St Ives this morning.
Four ambulance crews and a Careflight helicopter attended the scene.

The woman, aged in her 50s, was treated by paramedics for burns to her face, chest and arms.
She was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
