A man's body has been recovered after an angler was swept off rocks on New South Wales' Central Coast yesterday.
The rock fisher was swept into the sea about 8am yesterday at Snapper Point, triggering a search led by officers from the Marine Area Command, Tuggerah Lakes and Brisbane Water police districts.
Marine Rescue NSW, Surf Life Saving NSW and NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service also assisted in the search for the man.

Authorities searched until nightfall and were set to resume search operations this morning.
However, police said a man's body was found on a rock ledge off Frazer Beach, about two kilometres south-west of Snapper Point, about 7am today.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted this week to confirm the man's identity and determine his cause of death.
