Mum charged with murder of three children found dead after house fire

The mother of three children found dead after a house fire in Western Australia's Pilbara region has been charged with their murder.

The bodies of the 10-year-old girl, seven-year-old boy and five-month-old boy were recovered from the house on Anderson Street in Port Hedland last Tuesday.

The 36-year-old mother has been charged with three counts of murder and one count of criminal damage by fire.

The Port Hedland community has rallied around the family as they struggle to come to terms with the loss.

The woman will appear before Perth Magistrates' Court today.

First responders to the incident were provided with extra mental health support, along with locals grieving the loss.
