A once-in-a-year storm is set to batter Western Australia's south-west corner, with a severe weather warning having been issued from Geraldton to Albany.
Damaging winds of up to 90km/h and heavy rainfall of more than 30mm is expected, the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has advised.
The strong cold front moving across the state is expected to impact the western coast late Monday morning, pushing eastwards into the afternoon.

The potential for damaging winds and heavy falls in showers and thunderstorms is likely to continue through Tuesday and into Wednesday, according to BOM.
Weatherzone has warned people near the coast to expect large, powerful waves, saying the waves could potentially reach seven to 10 metres today.
The waves are expected to be particularly strong until about Thursday.
