A $24 million house in Sydney's upper north shore has gone up in flames, just a year after it was purchased.
Over 30 calls were made to Triple Zero during the Northwood blaze, which broke out late last night.
Fifty firefighters and 12 fire trucks were called last night to put out the fire but the multi-storey property was destroyed.

It's unclear what caused the fire.
The manor-style home consists of six bedrooms, a tennis court, an orchard and stone boat house.
It was purchased in November last year by one of the biggest land owners in the area.
Nobody was injured as there was nobody living in the home at the time.
Investigations are continuing.
