Shocking footage has been released of a mum being carjacked while breastfeeding her baby in a shopping centre carpark in Brisbane.
The man has since been charged with a string of crimes committed between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, including several home robberies.
CCTV shows the man walking up to the mother's vehicle in the Maroochydore parking lot on Friday, before the woman rushes out of the car and the man drives it away.

Police allege the day before the young mother's car was stolen, the man had broken into multiple homes, stealing cars from Morningside, Kedron and Gordon Park.
Then, early the next morning, the same man is accused of breaking into a home at Minyama and stealing a Landcruiser.
Witnesses say they saw the Landcruiser speeding along the wrong side of the Nambour Connection Road, forcing other drivers to swerve out of the way.
After abandoning the Landcruiser in Woombye, the man then allegedly broke into a Woombye home where he confronted a woman. The man grabbed her, demanding car keys, before fleeing the scene in another Landcruiser.
The vehicle was later abandoned at Buddina where the man is accused of breaking into another home and stealing a third Landcruiser.
He then drove the stolen car to the shopping centre at Maroochydore, before walking up to the mother feeding her baby and ordering her out of the car.
The man has since been charged with more than 20 offences including armed robbery.
He was remanded in custody and is due to face court in November.
