A woman has died and a man has been seriously injured in a crash in Melbourne.
Police said it was believed the car was travelling along Stintons Road at Park Orchards before it hit a tree just after 2.30pm on Sunday.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the woman died at the scene.

She is yet to be formally identified.
A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while two other men were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are working to establish the cause of the crash.
