Two pedestrians have been hit by an allegedly drunk driver in New South Wales
The alleged drunk driver hit the two women outside Barker Street in Casino at 10:45am Thursday, seriously injuring both.
One of the victims, a 73-year-old woman, was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital after paramedics gave her CPR.

She remains there in a critical, life-threatening condition.
The other victim, a 74-year-old woman, was treated by paramedics and taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a serious condition.
The 57-year-old driver was charged by police after allegedly returning a positive result.
A second blood-alcohol test returned a reading of 0.115.
The man was charged with aggravated dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, causing bodily harm by misconduct while in charge of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, driving with a high range PCA and Negligent driving.
He has been refused bail and will appear in Lismore Local Court today.
