Climate change activists turn the Trevi Fountain black

Climate activists in Italy have dumped charcoal in Rome's famous Trevi Fountain, turning the tourist attraction black.

Authorities say about 10 people showed up at the site holding banners with messages that read, "Our country is dying".

Rome Police say all of the activists were arrested at the scene and are facing vandalism charges.

The group has previously carried out two similar attacks.

Rome's Mayor called on the activists to stop targeting national and artistic monuments.
