A homicide investigation is underway after a man was fatally stabbed in north Queensland overnight.
The man in his 50s was found with stab wounds in his back when police arrived at the White Rock address about 1.30am.
Emergency services tried to treat him but he was declared dead at the scene.

The property has been ruled a crime scene.
A man in his 60s is speaking with detectives investigating the death.
