Police are urgently responding to reports that multiple people have been shot at Hollywood Beach Boardwalk in Florida in the latest mass shooting to rock the US.
Initial reports suggest that seven had been shot, with that number expected to grow, according to CBS.
A live camera feed of the boardwalk showed dozens of terrified beachgoers running from the scene.

Other unverified footage on social media appeared to show a number of bloodied people being treated for wounds at the scene.
Police have closed at least one road into the area.
It's not known at this stage if there had been any fatalities.
