An urgent search is underway in South Australia for a mother of three who has been missing for four days.

The 48-year-old is described as about 170cm tall with dark shoulder-length hair.

Julie's brother has journeyed from Queensland to Streaky Bay to help with the search and concerns for the 48-year-old's welfare grow.
"It is pretty tough," Todd told 9News yesterday.
"The family is doing the best they can, trying to stay positive under the circumstances."
He said she has never disappeared before without explanation.
"Julie if you're watching this please come back. We love you and need you home," he said.

"We would especially be very keen to look at that footage."
