A man has been charged with murder after an elderly woman was found dead in home in Melbourne's north west.
The 81-year-old was found dead inside a home on Macedon Street in Maribyrnong about 5.40pm on June 12.
Victoria Police said the arrested a 55-year-old man early this morning at a South Yarra address.

"He has been charged with one count of murder," Victoria Police said in a statement.
He is behind bars and is expected to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court in October.
