Nine's journalists recognised at Kennedy Awards 2023

Nine's journalists have been recognised for their outstanding work at the 2023 Kennedy Awards.

Tara Brown and Naomi Shivaraman from 60 Minutes won the Les Kennedy Award for outstanding crime reporting with their story Presumed evil and falsely accused: An incomplete investigation that destroyed a good cop's life.

Eryk Bagshaw and Natalie Clancy, also from 60 Minutes, won the Tom Krause award for outstanding foreign correspondant for their report titled Kidnapped in Japan.

Former Nine political editor Laurie Oaks won the lifetime achievement award for his more than 30 years of experience across Australian media.

Neil Chenoweth and Edmund Tadros took out the 2023 Journalist of the Year and various other awards for their reporting of the PwC tax leaks scandal from Nine masterhead The Australian Financial Review.

Sydney Morning Herald journalists Lucy Cormack, Tom Rabe, Alexandra Smith and Jordan Baker won the outstanding political reporting award for their story titled Game Over for Lobbyist after "Catholic Gut" Comment.
