Recently, police said they were seeking a phone that CCTV showed being thrown out of the window of Dokhotaru's unit.
Detectives flew to Canada last week as part of their investigation into her death, where they met with Dokhotaru's family.

A separate critical incident investigation is continuing into all other circumstances surrounding the incident. This is being conducted by Fairfield City Police Area Command and will be subject to independent review.
