Temperatures are expected to soar in Queensland today as firefighters battle dozens of bushfires across the state.
Multiple warnings are in place, with one fire of concern at Beerwah in the Sunshine Coast hinterland has now been brought under control.
There is one "stay informed" warning in place for a blaze at Shoalwater Bay, which is moving from Mount Tilpal to Canal Creek.

But there are fears conditions could worsen, with temperatures forecast to hit the mid-30s in the state's south-east.
The north will be even hotter in the high 30s, while Doomadgee is set to hit 40 degrees, making it the hottest place in Queensland today.
High fire dangers remain in place for much of central and north-west Queensland, as well as Maranoa, the Darling Downs, and the Channel country.
People across Queensland, especially those in bushfire-prone areas, are urged to keep up to date with alerts and have a plan to leave early if necessary.

A fire ban would depend on weather conditions, Queensland Fire and Emergency Commissioner Greg Leach said yesterday.
"A lot of these fires we're seeing at the moment are wind-driven fires," he said.
Despite 170,000 hectares of hazard reduction burns taking place across Queensland, the weather during winter did hamper some efforts.
"It went from being too wet to too dry," Leach said.
