A man has been charged with murder today after a woman was found dead at a home in Melbourne's west.
The 42-year-old man was charged with one count of murder following an incident at a property in Sutherland Avenue, Melton, where it is alleged a woman's body was found with stab wounds, yesterday, about 1.30pm.
A large number of police attended the property yesterday as officers launched an investigation.

Ambulance Victoria said paramedics attended the scene.
The man is scheduled to front court today.
Police believe the parties are known to one other and are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
