Qantas chairman Richard Goyder will retire next year as part of a "board renewal plan" that the airline says will be made to restore trust in the company.
Goyder will retire in late 2024 as part of Qantas' leadership shake-up in "recognition of the reputational issues facing the group".
Three directors, including current CEO Vanessa Hudson, will compete in an election at this year's AGM for the chairman role.
