Top Gear reportedly axed by BBC after 46 years

Top Gear has reportedly been axed by the BBC after 46 years following the serious crash involving former cricketer and host Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff.

British newspaper The Sun is claiming the broadcaster couldn't continue making dangerous material when a presenter's life was nearly lost.

Flintoff suffered facial injuries and broken ribs in a crash on the show's test track in December.
