A man will face court today after being charged with the abduction of a child from New South Wales.
An amber alert was issued yesterday afternoon after a two-year-old boy was allegedly abducted from outside of an office in Coffs Harbour, at about 2pm.
Police also received reports that a woman, 61, had been assaulted during the ordeal. She has been treated for a broken arm.

Tripple Zero received several calls from locals who claimed to have witnessed the alleged abduction and tried to intervene.
The child was found at 11.30pm in Tenterfield, 300km away, after extensive searches by police.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged with taking/detaining a child with intent to remove from parental control (DV), and reckless grievous bodily harm.
He has also been charged with breach of bail.
He was denied bail and will appear in Tamworth Local Court today.
