A Queensland musician has been found dead the day after a gig, with family and friends due to pay their respects in the next few days.
Benaiah Fiu, 32, was found unresponsive at his home on January 13, just hours after his band, Strange Hotel, played a gig at Mo's Desert Clubhouse in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast.
A cause of death has not been confirmed.

The guitarist was part of several bands during his career, including Strange Motel, Paper, Sex Drive and Friction Control.
Friction Control posted a tribute to Fiu on their Instagram last night.
"Until we meet again. Rest easy brother," the post read.
Sister Hanisi also said goodbye in a heartfelt message to the photo-sharing app.
"On Saturday we said goodbye to my big brother Benaiah.
"Benaiah lived such a full amazing life. He loved so deeply, played, sung, and wrote so passionately, was so deeply intentional, had so much influence, and did whatever he wanted."
"It's an honour and a privilege to be your sister. I'm not ready to say goodbye. I love you so much Benaiah."

Fiu shared a post to Facebook the night of his gig, promoting what would be his final show.
"Tonight! We got Tapered LTD, Strange Motel Boiling Hot Politician and Antenna rockin out from 7pm onwards."
Friends of Fiu have since commented tributes under the post.
"Rip Benny! Never forget the primary school days building jumps, getting up to mischief and going to church with you and your family! Rest easy brother," one commenter said.
