Police have today charged two teenage boys with murder over the death of a popular Melbourne doctor last week.
The boys, both aged 16, were arrested yesterday.
They were later interviewed by police and both teens were charged with murder, aggravated burglary and theft.

The boys will appear at a children's court at a later date.
Ash Gordon was killed last Saturday at Doncaster in Melbourne's north east.
Police found him on Eildon Street about 5.30am after being called to reports of an aggravated burglary at the man's Sargent Street home.
It's alleged the victim had been involved in a confrontation where he was fatally injured.
The GP was well-liked and respected in the local community.
Superintendent Janet Stevenson said the arrests came after extensive inquiries by police.
"Since this incident occurred on Saturday, the Homicide Squad investigators have worked tirelessly with our colleagues in the region and specialist units to identify, locate and apprehend those responsible for this tragedy. We have now charged those persons in relation to the matter," he said.
"We know that Ash's family and loved ones are grieving. This arrest will not take away the tragedy of this dreadful situation, but we hope that it will alleviate some of their distress.
"We will continue to provide all the support they require during this difficult time."
