Three hospitalised after alleged stabbing in Sydney's Inner West

Police are investigating after three men were found with stab wounds in Sydney's Inner West.

Two men were found injured at a building on Charlotte Street in Ashfield after police received reports of a stabbing just before midnight yesterday.

A 28-year-old man suffered injuries to his neck and leg, while a 29-year-old man sustained stab wounds to his arm.

They told police a 31-year-old man had assaulted them before leaving the location.

Both men were treated at the scene and taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious, but stable condition.

At 2.10am, police found a 31-year-old man with a serious laceration to his hand on Arthur Street in Ashfield.

He was taken to St George Hospital, where he remains under police guard.

All three men are believed to be known to each other.
