A Spanish woman has died after she was attacked by an elephant in Thailand, according to reports.
The woman was bathing the animal at the Koh Yao Elephant Care Centre when it attacked her last Friday, the BBC reported.
Thai police said the elephant was "panic-stricken" when it attacked the woman, identified as 22-year-old Blanca Ojanguren Garcia.

Garcia, who lived in Taiwan as part of a student exchange program, was visiting Thailand with her partner.
The major of Valladolid, Jesus Julio Carnero, expressed his sorrow over the death on X.
"My deepest condolences to Blanca Ojanguren's family. Also to her other family at school," he said.
