Man arrested after police gun fired at Sydney Airport

A man has been arrested at Sydney Airport this morning after a police firearm was fired inside the terminal.

The Australian Federal Police has set up a crime scene and an investigation is underway.

Footage by a 2GB radio listener shows Australian Federal Police officers arresting a man in the food court of the domestic terminal.

"There were no injuries as a result of the incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public," an AFP spokesperson said.

The airport is operating normally, a Sydney Airport spokesperson said.
