A second man has been released from hospital and accused of the daylight shooting of a father-of-two in Sydney's west in what police allege was a gangland hit.
Mal Seve, 28, died at the scene after he was allegedly gunned down his Carinya Street home in Blacktown on Friday.
Police said they chased a Mazda utility until it crashed on nearby Kildare Street.

Two men allegedly ran from the crash but were arrested shortly after. The 18-year-old man, Hoani Tewhare, was charged overnight into Saturday. Police allege he was behind the wheel.
But the 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries and not released until Sunday, when he was charged with murder and several other offences.
Loved ones told 9News Seve, who was a member of the Inner West Brotherhood gang, was a loving father of two.
All three of those involved were known to police.
"Public place shootings and all shootings, police take very seriously - it's one of our number one priorities," Superintendent Brendan Gorman said on Saturday.
"Police will do whatever it takes to end that violence.
"Police were on the scene within seconds.
"Police heard the shots being fired and responded immediately."
The 25-year-old is due in Blacktown Local Court on Monday.
