A unit in Victoria's south-west has been gutted by a ferocious fire early this morning.
Video obtained by 9News shows firefighters battling the blaze as the flames fully engulfed the Geelong property.
Police confirmed the fire ripped through the unit about 12.20am on Lincoln Street in Corio, and nearby properties were forced to evacuate.
"The unit was totally destroyed by the fire and the fire is being treated as suspicious," Victoria Police said in a statement.

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) said eight firefighters helped to extinguish the blaze after a triple-zero caller alerted them to flames spewing out from the residence.
"Firefighters arrived on scene in six minutes and brought the blaze under control in 13 minutes," an FRV spokesperson said.
"The scene was handed over to Victoria Police for further investigation."
No one was injured and the investigation remains ongoing.
