A group of people have been returned to Sydney and fined after they were caught breaking lockdown to go on a camping trip at the state's Central Tablelands.
The trio are among 86 people who have been issued with fines in the last day for breaching COVID-19 health orders, up from 76 on Friday.
NSW Deputy Police Commissioner Gary Worboys said that residents at Oberon, west of the Blue Mountains, recognised that the group were not from the area and notified authorities.

"They were recognised as non-local people, police were notified, police attended to the Oberon area and found those three people," he said.
"(They) were issued public personal infringement notices for $1,000 each and returned to the Greater Sydney area."
Auburn and Bankstown have been flagged by Deputy Commissioner Worboys as areas "of particular concern" after many residents have been caught doing the wrong thing over the last few days.
As a result, more than 200 extra officers have been deployed to the region to enforce health guidelines.
"Yesterday, we deployed 200 additional police into that area and found many people not complying with the public health order," he said.

"Which is really disappointing when the warnings have gone out there in and around shopping areas, close contact areas, areas which we are vulnerable.
"People continued to refuse to put on a mask."
He said that police will continue to pursue anti-maskers and anybody who are caught breaking the law and endangering the community.
"The other important point today, is around those businesses that want to make a statement around their views or their opinions," Deputy Commissioner Worboys said.
"The health orders are the health orders. They are law. A fundamental obligation on police to investigate, to respond to complaints.

"We will continue to do that."
If businesses continue to do the wrong thing and act against the health advice, they face the possibility of being forcibly closed, Deputy Commissioner Worboys warned.
