Appeal to help identify man who died in Nelson Bay

Police are appealing for the public to help identify a man who died on the NSW mid-north coast yesterday.

A man was found unconscious on Bridle Track between the Nelson Bay Marina and Dutchies Beach, Nelson Bay, at around 12.45pm yesterday.

Members of the public performed CPR until emergency services arrived.

Police appeal for public assistance to identify a man who died in Nelson Bay yesterday.

The man could not be revived.

His death is not considered suspicious but police have not been able to identify him or notify his next of kin.

The man is described as being Caucasian, aged between 35 and 45, around 170 to 175 centimetres tall and a solid build, with dark brown and greying hair.

He was wearing an 'Urban Supply' black T-shirt, 'Mossimo' black shorts with white trims, grey socks, and blue sneakers.

Anyone who can identify him is urged to contact police.
