It's the wedding crasher no one saw coming.
Turning things upside down at Hardy's Bistro on the NSW Central Coast was a bat, which zeroed in on the Lee family during pre-wedding drinks on Thursday night.
Father of the groom Alister Lee said the invader appeared suddenly, out of nearby trees.

"This thing went nuts," he said.
The bat clutched bags before landing on some of the revellers, some of who were visiting from the UK.
Its tiny yet powerful claws dug into six wedding guests including a bridesmaid.
The groom's brother, Rob Lee said they tried to tackle the invader.

"We were actually spending most of our time trying to get it off people who it had attached itself to," he said.
Wildlife Ecologist Tim Pearson tried to explain the bat's behaviour.
"If they find themselves on the ground then they usually go to the nearest tall thing to get some height to take off but the fact this one kept coming back is incredibly unusual," he said.
Finally a branch was enough to convince the creature to retreat.
All six wedding guests needed multiple injections including a Lyssavirus vaccination which was urgently transported from Sydney to Gosford Hospital.
The three times the virus has been detected in Australia it has been fatal.
