Hundreds of thousands of Australians are already waiting on the Ticketek presale website ahead of the highly-anticipated Taylor Swift tour going on sale.
9news.com.au understands around 800,000 people were already waiting on the website in the "lounge" or waiting area, half an hour before the presale began at 10am.
That number is much higher than the estimated number of seats allocated to the five shows on the Australian leg of her tour.

There are approximately 450,000 tickets available across the performances in Sydney and Melbourne.
Ticketek had previously stated that "demand for tickets will be far greater than what is available".
But with nearly double the number of people waiting in the online queue to purchase the tickets, hundreds of thousands of people will likely miss out in today's Frontier Touring presale.
Ticketek and Frontier touring had shared their general tips for securing tickets, which included creating an account in advance, having presale codes ready and not closing or refreshing the browser while waiting.
