It might still sound strange to say out loud, but the first King's Birthday public holiday in 70 years has arrived.
For many around Australia, the public holiday will be a chance to sleep in and unwind, with some shops operating under reduced trading hours as a result.
Here's a quick state-by-state guide of some of Australia's biggest retailers as to whether they will be open on June 12 for the King's Birthday long weekend.

Woolworths
NSW and ACT - All stores will be open.
Victoria - All stores will be open.
Queensland and WA - All stores will be open.
SA - Rundle Mall and regional stores open (Millicent and Adelaide metropolitan stores closed)
NT - All stores will be open.
Tasmania - All stores will be open.
BIG W
NSW & ACT - All stores will be open.
Victoria - All stores will be open.
Queensland and WA - All stores will be open.
SA - Most stores are closed. Victor Harbor, Port Augusta, Renmark, Murray Bridge and Mount Gambier stores are open.
NT - All stores will be open.
Tasmania - All stores will be open.

Coles
Queensland and WA - All stores will be open under normal trading hours.
Victoria, ACT, and Tasmania - All stores will be open under normal trading hours.
NSW - Almost all stores will have their standard trading hours.
Wynyard, Newcastle Junction, Medowie, Maroubra Junction, Eastgardens, Casula, Ingleburn, and Wattle Grove will have reduced hours.
NT - All stores will open with reduced trading hours.
SA - All stores will be closed except Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Berri, Port Augusta, Mount Barker, Whyalla, Murray Bridge Green, Mount Gambier, Victor Harbor.
Coles Rundle Place will be open from 11am to 5pm.
LIQUORLAND
ACT - All stores will be open with reduced trading hours, which will be open from 10am to 6pm.
NSW - Reduced trading hours for all stores except the following: Toronto, Charlestown, Wyong, Long Jetty Liquor Barn, Lismore
NT - Reduced trading hours for all stores except Alice Springs and Pinelands which will be closed.
SA - Reduced trading hours for most stores.
The following stores will be closed: Parkholme, Greenacres, Marion, Gawler Green, Firle, Elizabeth, Parafield Gardens, St Agnes, West Lakes, Paralowie, Port Adelaide, Modbury Heights, Churchill, Athelstone, Munno Para, St Clair, Mount Barker, Payneham Drive Thru.
Tasmania - Reduced trading hours for Glebe Hill from 10am-8pm.
Victoria - Reduced trading hours for all stores except Horsham (Darlot Street) which is closed.
Kmart
Queensland and WA - All stores will operate during normal trading hours.
NSW, Victoria and Tasmania - All stores will be open but many will have reduced trading hours.
SA and NT - Stores will mostly be closed, but some will be open for reduced trading hours.
Bunnings
Bunning stores in every state and territory will be open on Monday 12 June but there will be shortened public trading hours.
Except for WA and Queensland, which doesn't celebrate the King's Birthday in June.
Dan Murphy's
Most Dan Murphy's stores around the country will open at 10am and close between 6pm - 7 pm.
BWS
BWS stores in every state and territory will open at 10am and close between 6pm and 7pm.
Westfield
Queensland and WA - All stores will operate during normal trading hours.
NSW and ACT - All centres will open from 10am and have reduced trading hours.
SA - All Westfield shopping centres will be closed.
Victoria - All Victorian centres will trade from 10am to 5pm.
Best and Less
Queensland and WA - All stores will operate during normal trading hours.
NSW - All stores will be open (except Grafton, Gunnedah, Inverell, Lismore and Toronto.)
SA - All stores will be open except Mt Gambier.
Victoria, ACT, NT, and Tasmania - All stores open.
